How Long Should Teenagers Exercise?

Teenagers are in a stage of rapid growth. The regular exercise is very necessary to keep fit and make you feel good both in mind and body. If you insist on exercising, you can maintain a healthy weight and keep away form certain diseases. After you know the importance of the exercise, you should also know how long of the workouts is best.

Time for cardio:

Teenagers should take about 1 hour to do some cardio every day in general situation, such as walking, running, swimming, and so on. You can make a plan for vigorous activities by assemble all of the sports you like and arrange them in a reasonable way.

Time for strengthening:

You should do some special activities to strengthen bones and muscles in your exercise, for example, you can do some gymnastics to build your bones and strengthen the muscles.  The other activities like pull-ups, crunches, etc can also help you in these aspects.
